Zooma lens logo - case study

Tim Walker is a returning client at Unique Logo. When he contacted us for the second time he asked if we can create a logo for a product. We said yes and we've started working on his new Zooma lens product.

When we start a logo design project we first try to understand our client's business and "see the world through their eyes". Zooma lens is a companion product to Quikclick - an online PDF library that can help you view large PDF files in your browser without the need to use Adobe reader software.

Initial Logo Design Concepts

Based on the information we have received from Tim we've tried to understand what his product does and where does he wants his products positioned into the market - the logo should reflect this clearly.

Tim also mentioned he wants to have a magnifying glass included into the logo - the most obvious choice for this kind of logo was a hybrid logo - a wordmark logo combined with a symbol -in our case the magnyfing glass.

The first batch of designs were created around these objectives and prestented to Tim.

Logo Design Revision Round #1

Zooma lens logo - Revisions round #1Based on the feedback we have received from Tim we have created a new round of logo designs including the magnifying lense and trying some suggested font faces and colors.

Final Logo Design

At this stage Tim and his partners already knew what they want - they choose one of the previously submitted logo designs and asked for a specific color combination: blue letters for zooma, gray for lens and red for the magnifying glass symbol.

The logo was finished in five business days and the was delivered as a digital download file.
